About this course
Mentoring is one of the oldest ways communities pass on wisdom, yet it is often done without much thought. This course looks at what a mentor is and is not, how to listen well and how to set expectations and boundaries. It also covers how to help someone think for themselves. It suits informal mentoring in workplaces, churches, schools and community groups.
Who it's forPeople who already guide others informally (or have been asked to) and want to do it with more care and clarity.
You will be able to

- Agree clear expectations, boundaries and a rhythm of meeting with a mentee
