About this course

A practical course for people with an idea and a notebook full of questions. It works through defining a problem worth solving, speaking with real people, shaping a simple offer and learning from the first conversations about price and value. The aim is clearer thinking and better questions, not a guaranteed business.

Who it's forAnyone with an early business or community idea who wants to test it carefully before investing heavily in it.

You will be able to

  • Describe the problem your idea addresses and who experiences it, in plain words
  • Plan and hold useful conversations with potential customers without leading them
  • Shape a small, testable first offer and decide what to leave out
  • Record what you learn and make an honest decision about the next step
